Our av-tech division is currently looking for an APPRENTICE REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN for a daytime position in our Quebec City team.

Under the supervision of the service manager, the successful candidate will be required to fill in and carry out preventive work orders and certain corrective maintenance tasks related to the upkeep or repair of various systems (air conditioning, ventilation, regulation, etc.).

The majority of the work orders have been identified in advance. Maintenance is carried out on commercial or institutional buildings.

More specifically, you will have to:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings or other specifications;
• Check the operation of refrigeration installations;
• Perform general preventive maintenance on refrigeration equipment.
• Perform basic maintenance mechanics work.
• Modify air conditioning systems using different techniques (oxy-cutting, welding and soldering);
• Check the operation of circuits and control devices;
• Interpret plans and technical drawings;
• Solve numerical control problems.

What we are looking for is a colleague who:

• Has a DEP in refrigeration;
• APPRENTI 1 or 2 card
• Very good physical condition;
• Ability to work at height
• Is autonomous and resourceful;
