Under the supervision of the Regional Manager, the incumbent must act as a support person for the Manager and his team. He or she must therefore be available to respond to various requests related to operations management, divisional administration and more.

av-tech is a globatech subsidiary with over 350 employees working in more than 700 buildings throughout Quebec, and can meet all the needs inherent in building management (refrigeration, plumbing, electricity, building mechanics, commercial kitchens, etc.).
What's your role in our team like?
Purchasing
- Place orders for safety equipment (PPE), cleaning products, computer hardware, office supplies, etc;
- Follow-up on overdue orders;
- Process requests in the Purchasing Teams;
- Interact with suppliers;
- Prepare and maintain purchasing files, reports and price lists;
- Source, price and complete purchase orders;
- Schedule deliveries with suppliers;
- Solve ordering problems (material shortages, missing items, forgotten deliveries, supplier changes, etc.);
- Verify the accuracy of requests and the quantity available in stock;
- Control inventory, follow up regularly and make adjustments in Excel file;
- Schedule factory deliveries.
Payroll
- Extract and validate hours worked per employee;
- Enter hours into dedicated software;
- Validate payment of employees' special leave (holidays, vacation, illness, etc.);
- Validate and process bonus and daycare payments;
- Process and ensure compliance of all employee payroll documents;
- Carry out the usual checks and ensure compliance with current regulations when processing wages and other employment-related benefits;
- Perform final payroll checks in collaboration with other administrative assistants.
Billing
- Receive billing documents for each project;
- Verify hours and materials invoiced;
- Ensure documents are properly completed;
- Organize pre-billing documentation according to internal procedure;
- Verify invoiced data and consolidate supporting documents;
- Make credits or adjustments as required;
- File invoicing documents.
Other administrative tasks
- Record all information relating to various projects;
- Analyze projects;
- Prepare work in progress;
- All other related tasks.
What we're looking for in our new colleague :
- Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in plumbing heating;
- License C in non-CCQ or CCQ plumbing;
- Good general knowledge of domestic plumbing;
- Proficiency in reading blueprints;
- Knowledge of the industrial environment (an asset);
- Ability to synthesize information;
- Judgment, discretion and confidentiality;
- Sense of initiative;
- Ability to work in a team;
- Customer service skills;
- Dexterity;
- Precision and attention to detail;
- Valid driver's license.
Advantages of working with our group :
Academic background
- DEP in accounting or DEC in accounting and management;
- At least 3 years' experience in an accounting-related field;
- Any combination of experience and training will be considered.
Knowledge
- Mastery of the Office Suite;
- Knowledge of teams and SharePoint (an asset);
- Experience in ERP CRM implementation (an asset);
- Knowledge of NetSuite (an asset).
Skills
- Ability to learn new software;
