What your role will look like within our team:

• Locate, diagnose, isolate and troubleshoot electrical and electronic system faults;
• Remove and replace defective components;
• Make electrical additions and modifications;
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance programs by keeping maintenance records;
• Check, install, connect and maintain cables, pipes, controls, circuits, appliances and auxiliary accessories;
• Ensure that the electrical plans and diagrams of the building are updated;
• Verify the conformity of electrical installations made by subcontractors;
• Maintain the lighting systems of institutional, commercial and industrial buildings.

What we are looking for in our new colleague:

• Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in Construction and Building Electricity;
• Competency card from the Commission de la construction du Québec as a journeyman electrician (Mandatory);
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems in industrial or institutional buildings (an asset).

If, in addition, you have:

• A good knowledge of the maintenance of large capacity UPS systems;
• Excellent general knowledge of electrical controls related to buildings;
• And a mastery of reading electrical plans and generator systems.
