Daytime schedule, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Under the supervision of the team leader, the incumbent, as a day laborer, performs a variety of tasks; he (she) is a jack-of-all-trades.

What your role on our team will be like :

• Shovel the dining room terrace;
• Maintain flower beds;
• Replace fluorescent tubes;
• Clean the Ige-1-2 gutter;
• Clean overhead crane;
• Refurbish boot brush;
• Assist loading dock attendant;
• Maintain and perform chemical treatment of water towers and neutralization basin;
• Perform MMF rounds (visual monitoring);
• Assist combustion technicians with annual maintenance on LGE heating units;
• Escort unsecured contractors;
• Manage scrap and recycling (LGE);
• Maintain mechanical rooms, telecom rooms, stairwells (floor, dust);
• Inspection and maintenance of fire extinguishers;
• Maintenance of emergency showers;
• Roof cleaning;
• Clean emergency exit doors in winter;
• Winter cleaning of ventilation system access (filter and lubrication);
• Assist authorized subcontractors in the maintenance of building mechanical equipment;
• Maintain chemical treatment of water systems;
• Make morning rounds during the summer to pick up outdoor waste on the grounds;
• Respond to Assyst requests for the building department;
• Prepare room for training sessions or meetings
• Assemble and install Christmas decorations;
• Replace janitor (lunch hour);
• Move office furniture (moving or new employee);
• Sand slippery surfaces on main entrances in winter;
• Assist janitorial department with special requests and jobs;
• Clear debris from double-skin wall, spring and fall;
• Assist subcontractors with special projects (e.g., interior camera project);
• Any other related tasks.
