In order to complete our team of sales and operations professionals, we are currently looking for a technical representative - Building Security who will work in a stimulating and dynamic project environment.

The estimator establishes contacts with the target clientele and is assigned all the tasks required to respond to calls for tenders and bids that are of interest for the business development of Logic-Contrôle Inc. He participates in the estimation of specialized contracts for the implementation of unified security technologies, access control and intelligent parking facilities.

He/she will play an active role in business development for his/her sector of activity in the Quebec City region. The successful candidate will also act as a liaison between the client and the installation team during project implementation.

JOB SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the Regional Director, the technical representative - Building Security will promote our products to potential customers in order to maximize sales. He/she will be expected to make a significant contribution to the achievement of sales targets for the sector, while also contributing to the smooth running of the department.

SPECIFIC DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales and bid management

  • Draw up lists of potential customers
  • Plan and implement a canvassing strategy
  • Manage customer accounts for delegated sectors of activity
  • Identify equipment needs and conditions during a bid;
  • Prepare bids in accordance with the procedures and deadlines requested in the call for tenders;
  • Actively participate in the preparation of service contracts and define the standards;
  • Ensure that all stages of the sale are respected in each of their projects;
  • Provide constant support to the customer;
  • Verify the accuracy of the tasks performed versus the proposed tasks;
  • Verify customer satisfaction after the work has been completed;
  • Follow up on service offers with the various departments concerned;
  • Participate in sales and operational meetings;

Representation and development activities

  • Master technical subjects and make appropriate presentations to customers;
  • Participate in organized representation activities (exhibitions, etc.).
  • Keep up to date with new trends and direct sales accordingly.
  • Participate in sales and operational meetings.

QUALIFICATION PROFILE

Experience and education:

  • Vocational, college or university studies in a technical field (electricity, control, automation) or in sales and consulting.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years in the field of security and/or parking, including at least 1 year in sales (asset);
  • Any relevant combination of training and experience will be considered.
  • Must have a valid driver's license in Quebec

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite;
  • Knowledge of CRM-type sales software would be an asset
  • Bilingualism required (English-speaking clientele);
  • Excellent oral and written expression in French (mandatory);
  • Excellent customer service skills;
  • Autonomy, structure and sense of priorities;
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to make presentations to a group.
