Our logic-contrôle division, a leading specialist in the implementation of unified security, access control and video surveillance technologies, is looking for a dynamic, responsive and attentive colleague.

 

The Project Manager is looking for a Project Manager who wants to be a key player in security system sales and installation. He/she will coordinate specialized employees and work with other divisions to coordinate projects.

 

He/she will provide first-rate technical support to the operations team, ensuring professional guidance during installations and project start-ups for both the technical team and customers.

 

On a regular basis, he/she will manage and steer several simultaneous projects lasting from one week to several months.

 

Together with his or her peers, he or she will oversee best practices to promote a healthy and friendly working environment. Of course, he or she will also keep an eye on occupational health and safety issues.

 

The office is located in the Colbert industrial park near Ste-Foy.

 

What you would be expected to do:

  • Plan work received through documentation provided by each customer in order to execute the purchase orders obtained;
  • Define the volume of work, forecast technician time and the availability of subcontractors, as well as related expenses;
  • Provide expert advice on special jobs and ∕ or special situations;
  • Act as lead for the team of installers and start-up technicians;
  • Track equipment orders for site preparation;
  • Participate in project progress billing and follow up on operations reports;
  • Participate in weekly meetings with management
  • Participate proactively in the technical development of employees (ongoing training).
  • Ensures sound personnel management in collaboration with the Contract Manager and HR team as required
  • Visits work sites to ensure professional supervision of technicians and verify work execution.

 

What would really help you to carry out your tasks?

  • DEP or DEC in a field related to security systems;
  • 4+ years' experience in security and video surveillance;
  • Considerable knowledge of access control systems;
  • Good knowledge of project management software;
  • Ability to analyze and think strategically;
  • Leadership skills;
  • High degree of professionalism and integrity;
  • Intermediate French and English;
  • Valid license issued by the Bureau de la sécurité privée (BSP);
  • Valid driver's license;
  • ASP construction card (an asset).
